In 2022, Luna afternoon club oy started to offer morning and afternoon club services at the International School of Vantaa (ISV). Prior to this, the services had been offered by Vakka ry, the ISV parent's association until they voted to end the service.. To minimize impact on students and maximize continuity, most staff and know-how were carried over into the new company..

A core strength is the qualified, dedicated, and caring staff with many years of experience. Luna's manager, Tanja Gardiner', has over 13-years of experience in afternoon club operations at ISV.. AC Instructor, Mr. Robel has 14 years of experience. Part-time staff have similar backgrounds and experience.

We also have a very good contact with the school and this ensures the smooth continuity from the school day into afternoon club care. This helps us to follow the homework given and whatever the children might have encoutered during the school day.

We also believe in healthy snacks. During every snack time we have variouty of fruits and vegetables. Fridays are the highlight of the week as we bake something our selves for the snack from pizza, fooccassio, frensh toast, pancake and so on.

Our Snacks

We are very proud of our Snacks. We bake our own bread in our premises, so that our students can enjoy freshly baked goods. On Fridays which are our special snack days we have pizza, french toast, pancakes etc as snack. At times when there's only porriage in the school menu, the children are really hungry by the time they get to our AC. Those days we might make chicken and rice etc.
